About THE NELS AGENCY

We are a husband and wife team with more than 30 years of Personal Lines insurance experience. Our goal is to build the proper coverage around our client’s specific needs and not take a one size fits all approach. We are not the stereotypical insurance agents and try to make insurance a more enjoyable process. Insurance can be very confusing and a big part of our job is educating the client on the coverages they currently have and where they may need more to fill in the gaps.

We often get asked “who is Nels?”. Tracy’s dad’s middle name was Nels. It has a Scandinavian origin and it means “victory of the people”. He unfortunately passed away several years ago. So, in honor of his legacy, we named our agency The Nels Agency. Thus, our slogan “A Legacy of Protection”.
